Star Defense screenshots and video leaked

We’re big fans of tower defence games on iPhone here at Know Your Mobile, and we’ve seen a whole lot of them, but Star Defense from ngmoco is something a little special. It’s a 3D TD game where you’re laying towers down across a spherical or cubic world that you can spin around yourself.

Ngmoco has been kind enough to send us new screenshots and a video of the upcoming game to get us all salivating. It’s set to be an involving and action-packed game that could well topple the best tower defence games off their pedestals. There will be seven different planets and five upgradeable towers at launch, but we fully expect there may be some extra goodies after an upgrade.

Star Defense from ngmoco will be available from the App Store from early May, but for now you’ll have to make do with these screenshots and this rather lovely video preview.
