The classic football management sim returns to mobile with Championship Manager 2009

A 2009 edition of one of the original football management sims, Championship Manager, has been released on mobile.
Created by Eidos, it allows you to take control of a team in its entirety, from choosing players to directing their strategy and training.
You get to watch the matches themselves too, giving that extra level of immersion that can’t be supplied by menus and stat sheets alone. You can even get involved with press conferences too.
This is the latest in a line of Championship Manager games on mobile, most of which have managed to recreate a football management experience of surprising depth considering the diminutive size of mobiles. Championship Manager 2009 is already available on some UK carriers and should be available from others shortly.
