Championship Manager coming to iPhone- soon!

The classic football management game is headed to iPhone, and it sounds like it's already nearing the goal

One of the original football management games, Championship Manager, is coming to iPhone according to the Times. A high profile game of this type is yet to dominate the App Store, so the goal is open for Championship Manager to score a massive hit.

Details are scant as yet, but it’ll be sticking with 2D visuals rather than trying to strain the iPhone’s graphical capabilities. It’s one game that should certainly lap up the device’s touchscreen controls though.

Championship Manager is rumoured to already be in Apple’s hands. We can’t imagine they’d have many grievances with it though- football management games don’t tend to mix too well with either nudity or profanity. We’ll be sure to check if it’s match fit once it makes it onto the pitch.
