If you’ve not heard of Sally’s Salon, you’ve been missing out. It’s one of the best casual serve ‘em up games available on any platform. Its sequel, Sally’s Spa, is now available on the App Store for £1.79.
It’s a game that lets you take charge of your own Spa as you rush about, playing as Sally naturally, giving manicures, facials and other such luxury treatments. It may sound like a resolute non-gamer’s game but, with its furious blend of time management finger tapping, Sally has the chops to charm even the gaming elite.
Interestingly, Games Café, responsible for the development of the PC original, publishes Sally’s Spa. Conversely its prequel Sally’s Salon was published by casual gaming giant RealArcade. If anything, this only reinforces the power of iPhone games, as original IP owners grasp back for their content.
However, Sally’s Salon is currently priced at an ultra-cheap 59p while the new Sally’s Spa will cost you £1.79.
Which one should you go for?
Well, we’d suggest both, but Sally’s Spa keeps to the PC original more strictly. That 59p price point is tough to beat though.
