Bulkypix has released Hysteria Project for iPhone, an interactive horror film with an axe-wielding maniac in tow

The long-awaited Hysteria Project from Bulkypix has been released on the App Store. It’s an interactive horror movie game that uses live action video to tell the story, while action sequences are triggered over the top.

With an axe-wielding maniac on your trail, you’ll probably find yourself dying a fair few times along the way, although we don’t expect all that much gore would get past Apple’s thought police.

We’ll be taking a more extensive look at the game soon to see if it terrifies as much as Bulkypix promises it does. Hysteria Project describes itself as ‘groundbreaking’ and weighs-in at 116MB. It’s less than some other FMV games we’ve seen though. Hysteria Project is available for £1.19 from the App Store.
