Bobby Carrot retro episodes come to iPhone
Andrew Williams
Bobby Carrot Forever on iPhone is a great puzzle game in its own right, but now you can indulge in the series' roots too

As part of the promotion for the new Bobby Carrot Forever iPhone game, FDG Entertainment is releasing each of the classic mobile phone games on the App Store. The first one had already appeared and is available for the bargain price of 59p.
You may not have heard of him yet, but Bobby Carrot is one of the longest-standing heroes of mobile gaming. The original, the episode now available on iPhone, was released way back in 2004, offering 50 levels of carrot-munching puzzling.
Although FDG’s intention is to bring back the classic Carrot adventures in their original form, there’s also been an arcade machine surround added to the interface. Bobby Carrot 1 may not have the bells and whistles of the recently released Bobby Carrot Forever, but for a slice of pure puzzling carrot cake, Bobby Carrot 1 sounds like a bargain to us at 59p.
The subsequent Winterland, Evolution and Flower Power episodes, covering Bobby carrot 2, 3 and 4 should be released shortly.
