Free iPhone game of the week: WordJong Lite

WordJong is a blend of Mah-jong and scrabble. You have to get rid of all the letter tiles by making words out of them, although you can only use the ones that are on the top of the pile.

The full version gives you new puzzles every day, but in this free lite version you just get a week's worth of puzzles. It'll keep you going though, and the full game is currently just 59p. Obviously, the lite version is free.

It's one of the few word games on the iPhone that's gained some press in the non-mobile gaming sector with numerous mentions on gaming podcasts and websites. It's a great game in its own right as well, with the wordy gaming proving to be a relaxing and brain-tingling challenge. It's got a 100,000 word dictionary, so you should be fairly free to flex your word muscles.
