Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation free on Galaxy S2

Samsung is making Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation free for Samsung Galaxy S2 owners

Published on Feb 8, 2012

Samsung is attempting to coax Galaxy S2 owners to get onto its rarely-used Samsung App Store by offering first-person shoot-‘em-up Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation for free.

It's not the first time the company has offered exclusive freebie games to Galaxy S2 users. Samsung also made Dead Space free for the device at the beginning of 2012.

Just as we reported with Dead Space, UK Galaxy S2 users might find their phone missing the Samsung App Store but there is a way you can get hold of it and access the free content.

Phandroid reported that it's possible to download the Samsung App Store file and side-load it onto your Galaxy S2, so if you're interested feel free to follow the link.

Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation features a single-player campaign with multiple mission types, including escorting VIPs, sniping and defending important objectives.

These take place across 13 levels at a variety of locations, including Los Angeles and Pakistan. It's got a bit of a cinematic Call of Duty vibe to it with some scripted sequences and of course it's crammed with plenty of destructive weaponry for you to get to grips with, not to mention some gripping online multiplayer action - if your data connection is up to it.
