How to change themes on the LG KF700
You can transform the look and feel of the LG KF700 by changing its themes, adding striking animations and images quickly and easily. We show you how
The LG KF700's large 3-inch touchscreen offers plenty of visual real estate onscreen, which can be themed to suit your own tastes using images and flash animations supplied by LG. LG has pre-loaded a selection of visuals based on Keith Haring's distinctive vibrant artwork that you can use to transform your Home screen.
Themes can be a package of elements - wallpapers, screensavers, animations and sounds - that can completely change the look and feel of a handset. How many of these elements are included will depend on the type of handset and the particular theme you're installing.
Themes can often be downloaded from mobile makers' own websites, network operators' portals or from specialist sites. They can usually be installed quickly and easily, with just a few key presses. You can get themes catering for a huge range of interests - from favourite football clubs to movies, or from top bands to abstract art, and much, much more.
Unlike Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones, there isn't a one-click way to transform the LG KF700 with your own themed creations or downloaded themes.
In the settings menu, you can choose to change one of the screen themes - with separate options for Home screen, Outgoing call display, Start-up and Shut-down screens. For the Home screen, you can install one of the flash animations or any image from the phone or memory card. For the other screens you can you can swap images with any on the phone or card.
There's also a separate option to change the Handset theme - the menu appearance and background look of the phone - with two options, Sky and Black to choose from.
