Use the Shine's shortcut keys

Save time scrolling through the LG Shine's menus by using keypad shortcuts

The LG Shine's innovative scroll bar makes menus easy to navigate, but you can save even more time by using the Shine's keypad shortcuts.

Every menu item on the Shine has a number to the left of it. On the main menu, for instance, Profiles has the number '1' to its left, Browser has '2', Multimedia '3' and so on. Instead of highlighting the section you want to access and clicking OK or pressing the scroll bar, just press the corresponding number on the keypad and you'll be taken straight to that section. You don't even need to highlight the option.

Submenus work in exactly the same way, as do Options menus. From Standby mode, press Menu to open the main menu, and click 7 to open the My stuff folder. Press 1 to open Images. Highlight an image using the scroll bar (you may need to open a folder to find an image) and click Options. You'll notice that each option has a number next to it. Press 3 to open the Set as fly-out menu, and you'll see another three options, all with their shortcut numbers.
