How to set unique ringtones and images for contacts on the LG Shine

Ringtone ID lets you assign a different ringtone for each of your contacts, and Photo ID makes their picture pop up as they call

Thanks to the LG Shine's Ringtone ID feature, each one of your contacts can have a different ringtone assigned to them, so when they call you, you'll know who's ringing without having to take your phone out of your pocket.

Photo ID works in the same way, but with photos, so a picture of each contact could flash up when they call.

Ringtone ID and Photo ID are very easy to set up. Just follow these instructions.

Ringtone ID

From Standby mode, click Menu, highlight My stuff and click OK (or at the menu, just press 7)
Highlight Sounds and click OK (or press 2)
Highlight the sound file you want to assign to your contact and click Options. If you want to open a folder, for instance the Default sounds folder, just click the scroll bar to open it.
Highlight Set as and click OK (or press 2)
Highlight Ringtone ID and click OK (or press 2)
Your contacts will appear, one page at a time. You can type the first few letters of their name into the search box at the top of the page, or use the left and right navigation keys to scroll through all the contacts. When you've found the contact you want to assign the ringtone to, just click Insert.
Your Ringtone ID will now be assigned. Click the End call button to return to Standby mode

Picture ID

From Standby mode, click Menu, highlight My stuff and click OK (or at the menu, just press 7)
Highlight Images and click OK (or press 1)
Highlight the image file you want to assign to your contact and click Options. If you want to open a folder, for instance the Default images folder, just click the scroll bar to open it.
Highlight Set as and click OK (or press 3)
Highlight Picture ID and click OK (or press 3)
Your contacts will appear, one page at a time. You can type the first few letters of their name into the search box at the top of the page, or use the left and right navigation keys to scroll through all the contacts. When you've found the contact you want to assign the image to, just click Insert.
Your Picture ID will now be assigned. Click the End call button to return to Standby mode
