Setting up Bluetooth on your LG Prada handset
Send and receive files for free with your LG Prada moblie phone via Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a great way to send and receive files from your handset to other Bluetooth devices. Switching Bluetooth on is easy, just follow the steps below.
- From the Start-up screen select the Menu icon
- Select the Settings icon on the side of the screen
- Select Bluetooth (Figure 1)
- From the Bluetooth menu select Bluetooth On/Off (Figure 2)
- Select Bluetooth On (Figure 3)
Click the Back Button
- Select Bluetooth Settings
- In the Bluetooth Settings menu select My Visibility
- Select Show (Figure 4)
Your phone will now be visible to other Bluetooth devices. To change your Bluetooth name:
- In Bluetooth Settings select My Name (Figure 5)
- You can now change your handsets name to something specific to you
To pair your handset with other Bluetooth devices, click the Back button
- In the Bluetooth Main Menu select Device List
- Select New to search for new Bluetooth devices in your area (Figure 6)
- When you have found your desired device select Stop (Figure 7)
- Click on the Bluetooth device you want to exchange files with and select Pair
- You will then be required to enter a passcode; the device you are pairing with will be required to enter the same code (Figure 8)
- If successful you will receive a message saying “Pairing Complete” (Figure 9)
For everything else Bluetooth, click the Back button
- From the Bluetooth Main Menu select Supported Services
- This menu lists the services that the LG Prada KE850 supports including Bluetooth headset pairing, file transfer, image printing and lots more (Figure 10)
