Using the Video Camera

As well as featuring a 2 megapixel camera, the LG Prada handset also boasts a great video recorder to capture your friends on the go.

To access the Prada’s Camcorder:

• From the Start-up screen select the Main Menu icon
• Select Multi-media
• Select Camcorder (Figure 1)
  

You will now be presented with a landscape view that on the left-hand side shows the Camcorder’s current settings (Figure 2), to access the Camcorder’s settings touch the screen and then select the Settings icon on the bottom left of the screen (Figure 3).

These settings are (Figure 4):

• Resolutions – 128x96 pixels through to 400x240 pixels (Figure 5)
  
• Flash – On/Off (Figure 6)
  
• White Balance – Choose between Auto/Tungsten/Flourescent/Daylight/Cloudy (Figure 7)
  
• Filter – Negative/Gray/Sepia/Off (Figure 8)
  
• Meter – All/Centre (Figure 9)
  
• Quality – Normal/Fine/Super fine (Figure 10)
  
• Storage – Internal/External (Figure 11)
  
• Duration – Multimedia message/No limit (Figure 12)
  

You are also able to increase the brightness of your recording or zoom in on your subject by touching the screen whilst in viewfinder mode and using the levels on the left and right hand sides of the screen.

To take a video simply press down on the camera button on the right hand side of your handset (Figure 13), to stop or pause recording simply press the relative icons that will appear on the screen while recording.

After recording has been completed, you will be asked if you wish to delete it, to to this just press the Delete button on your screen (Figure 14).

Alternatively you can send your video via MMS, Email or Bluetooth by pressing the menu icon on the bottom left of the camcorder viewfinder and select Send Via (Figure 15). To take another video simply select the Camcorder icon on the bottom right of the screen and when you are ready hold down the camera button on the right-hand side of your handset.

To access your videos:

• From the Start-up screen select the Main menu icon
• Select Multi-media
• Select My Stuff
• From the My Stuff menu select Videos (Figure 16)
  
• Then if your videos are stored on a memory card select the memory card tab at the top right of the screen
• The select your video and press play (Figure 17)
  

You can also send videos by selecting the menu icon at the bottom left of the screen and choosing Send Via, with this menu you can also Delete videos, choose a Thumbnail view, or change file information (Figure 18).
