Using the LG Prada's camera
Use your LG Prada's 2 megapixel camera to its full ability by exploring its wealth of possibilities
The LG Prada’s giant screen acts as an excellent viewfinder when using its 2.0-megapixel digital camera. The camera is activated by pressing and holding down the Camera button on the side of the phone, or by selecting the camera function from the Multimedia menu (Figure 1).
From the main menu, select the Multimedia icon then select the Camera icon. Your screen will change into landscape more and current camera settings will be displayed along the left hand side (Figure 2).
Settings include:
- Flash – On/Off (Figure 3)
- Resolution – 320x240 pixels minimum and 1600x1200 pixels maximum (Figure 4)
- Meter – All or Centre (Figure 5)
- Filter – Off/Negative/Gray/Sepia (Figure 6)
- Quality – Normal/Fine/Superfine (Figure 7)
- Auto-focus (AF) - On/Off (Figure 8)
- Multi-shot (Figure 9)
- View – 4.3/16.9 (Figure 10)
- Storage – Phone/Memory Card (Figure 11)
- Timer – Off/3 secs/5 secs/10 secs (Figure 12)
- Shutter tone – Shutter1/Shutter2/Shutter3/Off (Figure 13)
- White Balance – Auto/Tungsten/Fluorescent/Daylight/Cloudy (Figure 14)
To access and change these settings touch the screen and select the Settings icon from the bottom left of the screen (Figure 15).
To change the brightness of your images, touch the screen and increase or decrease the brightness by touching the plus and minus icons on the top left of the screen.
You can also switch the Video camera mode or access current files by touching the screen whilst in capture mode and select the video camera or file manager icons.
To take a picture simply hold down the camera button on the top of the LG Prada handset. Once saved you will be given the choice to delete the image, to do this simply press Delete (Figure 16).
To go back and take another picture select the Camera icon.
To use the image select the Menu icon on the bottom left of the screen, you can then select from (Figure 17)
- My Stuff – selecting this will take you into your saved Images folder
- Set as wallpaper – Selecting this will set your chosen picture as your handsets wallpaper
- Send via – You can send your image via MMS, Email or Bluetooth
