"Fire Up The Quattro!" - the Gene Genie has arrived as an exclusive Ashes to Ashes theme (or wallpaper) for your LG KU990 Viewty.
Based on the sequel to the acclaimed BBC Television series Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes brings the fabulous DCI Gene Hunt (Philip Glenister) back to our TV screens - and our Viewty.
Any attempt to explain the premise would be wasted to people who don't know the back story - and it's all pretty bonkers anyway. Basically a police psychologist (Keeley Hawes, the dishy one from Spooks) after studying the time travelling fantasies of a colleague gets shot in the head - and ends up in the same fantasy world as her patient. The only difference is that instead of 1973 Manchester we're in 1981 London.
Really it's just an excuse to wallow in non-PC dialogue ("Hey Bolly knickers, you don't know whether to punch me or kiss me"), laugh at bad haircuts, appreciate some great period music and savour some really macho motors with massive carbon footprints.
And so the great "Fire Up the Quattro punchline" has become the LG KU990's ringtone - it will eventually grate we're sure, but it's still flavour of the month in the Know Your Mobile office.
As you probably know, it's not easy to change the built-in Flash themes on the LG KU990 Viewty.
It can be done but it takes patience and a little bit of bravery - as you can find out from this article.
But it is quite easy to change the start-up, idle and shutdown screens on the LG KU990, not to mention set up a new default ringtone.
