The LG Optimus G Pro will be making an appearance at Mobile World Congress 2013, the company has confirmed — just don’t go expecting a UK release

LG has officially announced the LG Optimus G Pro in South Korea.

As expected, the Galaxy Note-sized Optimus G Pro will be making ‘an appearance’ at Mobile World Congress 2013. LG also confirmed that the device will carry Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 600 mobile processor.

LG’s release does not detail availability of the Optimus Pro outside Korea. It doesn’t even say whether this handset will be coming to the UK later on in 2013. It does confirm that the Optimus G Pro is LTE ready, carries LG’s new UX, and features a full HD 5.5-inch 1080p display, however.

Know Your Mobile has spoken with LG’s UK representatives in order to get more information about if and when the Optimus G Pro will be coming to the UK but they could not add anything more than what’s already been outlined in today’s press release.
