An iPhone 5 iOS 6.1.4 jailbreak has arrived online, thanks to Team Unlock, but you will be charged for it, suggesting the source isn't particularly legitimate.

iOS 6.1.4 is the latest software update released by Apple to fix a bug with the speaker, but some sources are suggesting it has actually broken other features of their phone, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The news comes after Evasi0n said it wouldn't be providing a jailbreak for Apple's latest firmware updates but would instead wait for iOS 7 to be released.

Team Unlock has stated it's managed to find a way to jailbreak both iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 - despite them not being jailbroken by any other well-known services.

Unlock-jailbreak.net says:

'Within just a FEW MINUTES of using our software solution, you will have an Unlocked & Jailbroken iPhone. Whether your iPhone is a 2G, 3G, 3GS, 4,4S or 5 or iPad.
The #1 Unlock/Jailbreak iPhone Software: Used by Apple Employees!
Within just a FEW MINUTES of using our software solution, you will have an Unlocked & Jailbroken iPhone. Whether you have the iPhone 5, 4S, 4, 3GS, 3G, 2G - we can Unlock and Jailbreak it!'

We've heard about a spate of these so-called jailbreaks recently and all are charging for the download - anywhere between $20 and $30. All legitimate jailbreak software has been free in the past, and we can't see this changing while there's such a demand for it.

Roll on iOS 7 when hopefully Evasi0n will be back on the jailbreaking train.

Warning: we haven't tried using this software to jailbreak our iPhone 5, and it is at your own risk if you decide to do so.
