The HTC Leo has surfaced online, this time detailing a sliding form factor and the spec list

A new image of the much rumoured HTC Leo has appeared online refuting claims that the device will take a dual-screen clamshell handset.

The previous rumours had the Leo pegged as a dual-screened (a la Nintendo DS) Windows Mobile smartphone. The new info surfaced over at HTCPedia.com courtesy of an anonymous forum member claiming to have the “real photo” as well as the spec list.

If the report is accurate the Leo will be a high-end piece of kit when it does arrive, highlights of the most recent details suggest:

  • 4.3-inch 400x800 capacitive touchscreen display
  • 8-megapixel autofocus camera
  • 1Ghz Snapdragon Processor
  • Wi-Fi
  • GSM/EDGE & HSDPA connectivity
  • A-GPS
  • microSD expansion slot

We like the look of the Leo - in both renders, however, given that this is unverified info from a random forum member we aren't putting our money down on either form factor just yet. A twin-screened Leo is considerably more ambitious than a landscape sliding Qwerty, which seems to be the meme of the moment.

We'll bring you more rumours and official announcements as they surface, stay close.
