Did HTC just confirm M7’s UK launch date?

We’ve just had an invite through from HTC for an event on February 19. Could it be the HTC M7’s UK launch?

Is February 19 the official UK launch date for the HTC M7?

That’s what all the rumours were saying last week, and now we’ve just received an invite from HTC to an event on… you guessed it: February 19.

There’s no mention of the HTC M7 by name but the invite does say ‘space is limited,’ implying this isn’t a launch to be missed which means it’s likely to be a hero device launch.

And with MWC 2013 just around the corner, the DROID DNA already launched in the US, and no Windows Phone devices on the horizon we know about, it could only ever really be one device anyway, and that device is, of course, the HTC M7.

Said to be packing a 13-megapixel camera, a 4.7-inch full HD display with a pixel density of 468ppi, not to mention a quad-core 1.7GHz processor. This means the M7 looks set to be the best HTC handset seen to date.

We can’t wait to finally get some hands-on time with this device, especially since HTC has already launched similar devices – the DROID DNA and the J Butterfly – in the US and Asia.

Well, it seems the wait is now almost over. Roll on February 19!
