HTC’s latest flagship handset, known as M7 just leaked online ahead of its official MWC 2013 launch — and what a handset it is!

The HTC M7 has finally leaked online ahead of its official launch, revealing what’s said to be the final design for the handset that many expect to see unveiled in and around Mobile World Congress 2013 in February.

The device is seriously good-looking and does share more than a passing resemblance to the recently leaked BB10-powered BlackBerry Z10. The M7, with its 4.7-inch Full HD 1080p display, is significantly larger, however, as you’d expect.

Unwired View, which first published the image, claims it is from a reliable source and was taken from a short animation that shows first-time users how to insert a SIM card inside the M7.

The lack of branding and other details (distinct screen borders, for instance) suggest that this is not the exact design HTC is expected to debut at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, says UV.

The M7 is expected to feature a 1.7GHz CPU, most likely a Qualcomm S4 Pro setup, LTE, and is expected to retail for around £375 SIM-free, making it suitably cheaper than Sony’s newly announced Xperia Z.

Based on the render we can see HTC has brought back the micro-drilled speaker grille found the One X, only this time, it's at the top and bottom of the flagship. Could this suggest stereo speakers?

Time will tell, but one thing's for sure, we'll be bringing you the latest M7 info as and when we get it along with coverage from the show floor at MWC next month.
