Command & Conquer Red Alert released for iPhone
The flashy iPhone version of strategy oldie Command & Conquer Red Alert has been released on the App Store
EA has released real-time strategy classic Command & Conquer Red Alert for iPhone.
The original Command & Conquer Red Alert, released back in 1996, was a pure 2D game – definitely a bit retro by today’s standards – but EA has brought the game up to date with a new 3D graphics engine to make the most of the iPhone’s power.
Apart from that though, other features of the game remain intact. You can build bases and units, and get full command over your troops by assigning them to groups. Check out our video preview of the game for more on exactly how it works. Command & Conquer Red Alert includes 12 missions, plus there’s an additional map pack you can buy in-game.
Command & Conquer Red Alert is available now for £5.99.
