Need for Speed Most Wanted is coming to iOS and Android this month and we've got a video showing it in action

We’ve been lucky enough to get a video preview of EA’s forthcoming racing title, Need for Speed Most Wanted, which will arrive on iOS October 30. It’s also coming to Android devices.

The game uses your devices’ accelerometer to steer along with a touch control for brake and a swipe gesture for a Nitrous boost. You can compete in a wide variety of races both during the daytime and at night and winning gives you money, allowing you to unlock more cars and content.

Staying in-line with other instalments in the series, you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of prestigious automobiles including European Exotics such as the Porsche 911, Japanese Tuners such as the Nissan GTR and American Muscle cars such as the Ford Mustang.

Several categories also include both state-of-the-art modern models alongside vintage classics.

On top of these categories there’s also SUV, ‘Everyday’, GT and Sports. You’ve got the option of installing performance modifications for your car of choice, as well as being able to pick the colour and, as the ‘Most Wanted’ title implies, you’ll also need to evade the Police during your races.

And if that wasn't enough to sate your appetite, here's the official trailer:
