iPhone available on Orange from November
The launch date for the Apple iPhone on the Orange network is 10 November 2009
Published on Oct 26, 2009
The iPhone will be available from 10th November on Orange, according to reports across the web.
The announcement comes days after 3 revealed that it won't be selling the iPhone until next year.
Chief Executive of 3, Kevin Russell, confirmed the information, stating 'I would expect the iPhone to be on the 3 network sometime during 2010,' at the Westminster eForum last week.
Both the iPhone 3G and 3GS will be available through the France Telecom-owned company, and it appears the handset has already attracted a lot of interest on the network as almost 200,000 people signed up for pre release information on Orange's website.
