Samsung adds Bang & Olufsen speakers to F400 dual-slider
Slipping out the top slider the F400 reveals high-quality dual speakers from Bang & Olufsen
Samsung has added high-quality Bang & Olufsen stereo speakers to its latest F400 music mobile - and a dual-slider design to put the music upfront
Samsung has teamed up with Bang & Olufsen again, but this time instead of a luxury music phone at a top-end price, it's incorporated Bang & Olufsen speaker and amplifier technology into a new two-way sliderphone design.
The F400 is a 3G HSDPA enabled device with a double action slider, similar to the Nokia N95's. While theres a regular numberpad that slides out at the bottom of the phone, sliding it the other way reveals high-quality dual speakers from Bang & Olufsen. These are driven by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower amplifier technology inside the phone.
The F400, which measures 16.9mm thin, also features a 3-megapixel camera alongside its music player functionality, and has a 2.2-inch QVGA display. The F400 has 130MB of internal storage plus MicroSD card expansion. It is scheduled for release in April/May 2008.
