2011 Meffys winners announced

MEF has revealed the winners of Meffys 2011 and we were there in attendance to watch the show.

The annual awards ceremony, which rewards success in the mobile arena, was held in London at the Grand Connaught Rooms, with Ruby Wax on stage to keep both the show and the laughs flowing.

As judges for a few of the categories, including Best Game, Best Innovative App and Best Mobile Connected Device, we were invited to attend the event, which meant plenty of dry humour, wine and a three-course dinner. It's a tough life, we know.

The judging involved ourselves and other publications whittling down a number of entries to a few and then giving each a score based on certain criteria. After this point, it was up to Meffys to tally up the scores, so we didn't know who the winners were until the event.

Obviously we didn't just go for a free lunch - we did actually want to see who won. So without further ado, here are the winners:
