LG has taken the wraps of a new GPS and Qwerty-keyboard-equipped Symbian S60-powered smartphone, the LG KT610.
The LG KT610 is a candybar style design, but with a twist - it opens up, Nokia Communicator style, to reveal a large 2.4-inch VGA display and a full Qwerty keyboard.
The KT610 has 3G HSDPA connectivity onboard, offering data download speeds of up to 3.6Mbps and supports push email, full web browsing, social networking applications and other multimedia goodies.
Based on the Symbian OS v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 platform, the GPS-enabled device will be open for customisation and personalisation for both productivity and multimedia entertainment applications.
The KT610 is one of several new handsets revealed by LG at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
