As well as beefing up the higher of its Walkman phone range with the W760i, Sony Ericsson has boosted its entry level line up with the clamshell W350i Walkman phone, a 10.5mm slim mobile that features music player controls on the outside of its novel retro-style fold-down flip.
The W350i has a fully featured Walkman music player onboard with TrackID, plus an FM radio, and is supplied with a 512MB Memory Stick Micro card for adding tunes. It has a basic 1.3-megapixel camera on the back, reflecting its low-cost profile, but does feature Sony Ericsson's picture blogging feature, stereo Bluetooth and has a full web browser, with support for RSS feeds. The W350i isn't a 3G-enabled phone, relying on quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
The W350i supports email, and has a decent range of standard Sony Ericsson's organiser features too.
The W350i will be available in the second quarter of this year, with price to be confirmed nearer the release date.
