Samsung's F400 music mobile is set to debut in the UK, with the dual-slider phone featuring Bang & Olufsen audio technology plus 3G HSDPA connectivity
Samsung has confirmed the UK launch of its F400 music mobile, a 3G HSDPA enabled handset that's kitted out with Bang & Olufsen audio technology.
The F400 has a dual-slider action, with a slide up speaker which Samsung says delivers high fidelity 3D-effect sound, tuned by Bang & Olufsen and ICEpower audio technology. The F400 has 1GB of internal storage, and supports MicroSD card expansion up to 4GB. It has dedicated music controls, and offers a variety of music orientated features, including Samsung's FindMusic music recognition software, SmartBass frequency enhancement, and an FM radio with RDS.
The F400, which was first shown at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in February, supports 3G HSDPA for high-speed browsing, plus downloading and streaming of audio and video content, at up to 3.6Mbps.
As well as its music features, the F400 has a 3-megapixel camera with flash, and a secondary video calling camera on the front, above its 2.2-inch 262K-colour QVGA display.
The Samsung F400, which launches imminently, will initially be available from O2, Orange, Virgin Mobile, The Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U.
