T-Mobile has announced the MDA Compact IV, its own-branded version of the HTC Touch Diamond smartphone that's just been revealed.
The MDA Compact IV, which will be available on T-Mobile from July, is a sleek-looking slimline touchscreen smartphone, running Windows Mobile 6.1 and using HTC's latest TouchFLO 3D user interface.
Apart from the T-Moble branding, it is practically the same as the HTC Touch Diamond. The MDA Compact IV runs on 3G with HSDPA mobile broadband powering its data connectivity for downloading and surfing. It also has a GPS receiver built, and will be supplied with a trial version of CoPilot Sat Nav software.
It has a 3.1-megapixel camera, and supports full web browsing. In addition, there's Windows Media Player software onboard - and the MDA Compact IV has 4GB of internal memory for tracks and other content. MicroSD card expansion is also supported.
The T-Mobile MDA Compact IV will be available from free on Flext 50 contract tariffs and above.

No it's not. Still the best phone on the market IMHO. 4GB more than enough for me. |
