Samsung Bada leaked slide
Samsung seems to have at least 4 Bada based handsets on the horizon

Published on Apr 5, 2010

The Samsung Bada platform has at least four new handsets in development according to a slide presented at a Bada Development Day in St. Petersburg.

The event was intended to entice existing and would-be developers into creating more content for the platform. The slide in question revealed the new devices in relation to the recently announced Samsung Wave S8500.

No hardware details were revealed but the image does clearly show the general price banding for each of the new devices, as well as the S8500 Wave which we already know will cost around €380.

It seems that Russian customers might be paying a little more for the Super AMOLED, Bada-toting, Wave at around 20,000 Rubles (about £450) but each of the new devices will be lower specced, and therefore a cheaper way of getting your hands on the new OS.

Little is known about the new phones but each will be touchscreen operated, with two of the mid-range options adding on a sliding-Qwerty keyboard.

Samsung will want to launch the Bada platform with as much of a bang as possible so we're expecting to hear a lot more about this new range in the very near future, until then we'll be keeping our eye on the early May release date.
