Screenshots of BlackBerry OS 6.0 leaked

Screenshot of BlackBerry OS 6.0 have leaked on the internet, showing a widget-based interface on the touchscreen version.

BlackBerry has traditionally been behind the times with the looks of its OS, but these new screenshots show something decidedly more exciting.

The pictures, revealed on BlackBerry Leaks, show a clock widget at the top, with snooze and turn off alarm below, then live ESPN, weather, drive time and news widgets below.

The second screenshot shows a larger weather widget, with emails and calendar events displayed above.

There's no more information regarding the release date of OS 6.0, but we assume it'll appear on a touchscreen Storm-branded device first.
