Nokia has revealed two new concept phones that take inspiration from the world around them
Published on Mar 11, 2010
Nokia has unveiled two new concept devices, named the Stealth and the Dragonfly.
Both devices have been designed with the mid range and low range markets in mind respectively.
The Stealth employs a very modern and aggressive angular design, taking after the design of one the first and most famous stealth fighter jets: the F-117.
The phone looks modern, even futuristic, and carries the stealth theme throughout by implementing a flat black rubber matte surface and low intensity red accent lighting.
The Dragonfly boasts similar angular features, but only in the keypad area. Up top there is a nice large display and what looks like a camera, complete with LED flash, on the rear. The black finish is accented with silver lines around the keypad and screen, as well as angular designs on the back of the handset.
These two phones are interesting deviations from what we've come to expect from the Nordic Nokia heads. Only time will tell if these phones will fly off the drawing board and onto shelves in a retailer near you.
