Apple has confirmed that its soon to be released iPad will not allow tethering between it and the iPhone.
According to AppleInsider, The news was apparently first aired in an email from a Swedish Apple user who emailed Jobs regarding the issue of tethering between the two devices, according to AppleInsider.
Jobs apparently stated in a response email that iPad users would not be able to tether the device to their iPhones and utilise its data connection.
While this isn’t much of an issue for iPad 3G users, it will certainly raise a few eyebrows with users opting for the cheaper Wi-Fi only option.
The Apple iPad is due to launch in the UK in April.
