T-Mobile, Orange, Vodafone and O2 have all agreed to take on Samsung’ Wave, which is the first to sport Samsung’s Bada operating system.
The Samsung Wave boasts a 3.3-inch 'Super AMOLED' display, that is sharper and less reflective. It also features a 1GHz processor and a Social Hub to where the user’s social networking profiles, and corresponding status updates and alerts are brought together into a manageable stream.
Samsung vice president for UK and Ireland Mark Mitchinson said: "The quality of the product has meant that all major networks will want to stock the Wave.
"The device is enabling us to offer customers a smartphone for consumers wanting a feature-rich experience at a lower price point."
The Wave's release date will be April and is aimed at the affordable market, and therefore is expected to retail for less than £25 a month.
