Game developer Distinctive Developments has made a video pitting the iPhone 3GS against Google’s Nexus One.
Both are made to render a 3D scene involving two women warriors fighting against each other – although many more are added to the mix later on to see how many polygons each device can hack.
While both devices perform commendably well, the iPhone 3GS leaves with a clear victory under its belt in frame rate terms. However, Distinctive Developments puts this down to the increased resolution of the Google Nexus One – its screen features a 480x800 pixel display while the iPhone’s is a mere 320x480.
However, the presenter from Distinctive Developments does compliment the Google Nexus One, describing its screen as ‘beautiful’. Not bad as far as consolation prizes go.
