Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 will see a firmware update to improve the standard Android 1.6 OS

Sony Ericsson's Xperia X10 will see an Android upgrade in the near future.

Sony Ericsson revealed the information on its product blog, saying "What I hope to get across to you all, is that there will be a software update for Xperia X10 that will upgrade the complete Sony Ericsson User Experience Platform based on newer version of the Android OS."

Both Timescape and Mediascape will also see upgrades too.
