The Nokia N900 gets delayed... again. Bust just for the high street this time

The Maemo 5-powered Nokia N900 phone has been delayed yet again, but this time only by a week, following high levels of demand for the device.
However, if you’ve already pre-ordered the device, your order shouldn’t be held up – it’s just the high street that’ll have to wait. NokNok reports that the Nokia N900 should high stores by the 4th December, presumably catching up with the second batch of N900s shipped.
After the rather uninspiring N97 Mini, we’re looking forward to seeing what Nokia makes of Maemo, where its high-end NSeries phones are headed for the foreseeable future.
The N900 is a high-powered device, featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 32GB of built-in memory and a 600MHz ARM processor. It sells for £499 SIM-free.
