Want a Windows phone? We'd recommend the HD2

O2 has announced that the Windows 6.5-powered HD2 will be available over the phone and within O2 stores from today.
We were very impressed with this large touchscreen device - just check out our full review for more info. Its large, highly responsive capacitive touchscreen makes light work of the Windows Mobile operating system, which we have frequently found tricky to get along with.
Although the 4.3-inch screen means the HTC HD2 may be a little large for some smaller pockets, the 11mm thickness should mean it’ll fit happily into your jeans.
At the time of writing, the HD2 hasn’t yet made it onto O2’s website, but we’ve been assured that you’ll find it in-store.
The HTC HD2 will be available for free on contract, but considering this is one of the highest-end phones we’ve seen in a while, you can expect to be paying £35 a month at the very least before you can expect to get this black beauty without shelling out some cash.
