Nokia N97 Mini now in stores

The Nokia N97 Mini is now on sale with a princely price-tag.

The N97 Mini has already had a London launch at Nokia's flagship store, but it's now available to readers not based in the capital.

We were hoping that as the Mini has lost some of the N97's puppy fat, and dropped the screen size from 3.5-inches to 3.2-inches, that it might undercut its bigger brother price-wise. However, according to the official press release, the Mini will set you back €450 before taxes.

Aside of some other minor tweaks and an internal memory downgrade to 8GB, the N97 Mini comes with much the same spec list as the N97, meaning a 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, microSD support and Bluetooth.

Whilst it may have lost some weight and addressed the 'pocket-factor' of the original, in doing so, the N97 Mini has picked up a rather steep price tag, that might see it struggle somewhat against the competition.

Alternatively, if SIM-free isn't your bag and you want to buy it with a contract, Vodafone is offering the N97 Mini for free on plans above £35.
