HTC’s Windows Mobile-powered HD2 has had its price details leaked on the net.
The HTC HD2’s O2 tariffs have been released on mobile retailer mobiles.co.uk, although they’re yet to appear on O2’s own site. They reveal that the HD2 isn’t going to come cheap.
You’ll have to fork out £40 a month if you want to get the device for free, although mobiles.co.uk advertises the deal as coming with a bonus freebie – you can choose from such things as £90 cashback or a Sony DAB radio.
Windows 6.5 for mobiles is set to plug the many accessibility gaps that features in the previous iteration of the OS, Windows Mobile 6.1. We’re yet to see a phone using the latest version really make a splash in the smartphone scene, but the HTC HD2 is a core contender.
The HTC HD2 packs a powerful 1Ghz processor, as well as Wi-Fi, HSDPA and a 5-megapixel camera.
