The BlackBerry InPulse Bluetooth watch is now available to pre order

BlackBerry's InPulse Bluetooth watch is now available to pre order from a US online retailer called Allerta, who manufactured the device.

The Bluetooth watch is similar to Sony Ericsson's MBW-200 Bluetooth watch that alerts you of any incoming calls and text messages.

Extra functionality on the BlackBerry InPulse includes the ability to display caller ID, email titles and calendar alerts on its 1.3-inch OLED screen.

Time is also taken from your BlackBerry rather than you having to set the time, so if your BlackBerry takes the time from the network and auto updates, you can be pretty sure it's spot on.

Battery life is up to four days under 'normal use', which apparently covers receiving 20-30 updates a day. It is charged through mini USB, or the charger bundled with a BlackBerry.

The BlackBerry InPulse is currently only available in the US and Canada for $149.
