Samsung B710 3D mobile coming to UK

The Samsung SCH-B710 3D mobile may see release here in the UK if online rumours are accurate

A Samsung handset known as the B710 is rumoured to be bringing its unusual sliding and swivelling form factor to the UK.
In normal use the phone functions as a vertical slider with the traditional alphanumeric keypad - but unlike any other handset, turning the screen sideways transforms it into a 3D display.
The pictures cropped-up at Pocket-Lint.com in a report that detailed some of the B710's features which include a TV Tuner, 3D camera and a parallax barrier 3D display.
Currently a Korea-only affair, the rumours at Pocket-Lint are that both 3 and Orange are taking a long, hard look at this emerging technology, and handset, for at home in the UK.
Whether or not the tech comes our way will depend on content for the 3D mobile platform, which is virtually non-existent here.
It seems a little odd to us that operators might be looking at a handset that first hit the headlines two years ago, but the market is hardly awash with 3D mobiles and with Sky rolling out its first digital 3D channel next year consumer awareness of 3D devices is likely to skyrocket.
