Acer has announced the neoTouch and beTouch range of smartphones. The new range is said to make internet on the go easier and more stylish for both work and leisure.
The beTouch is a three-phone range, comprising the E100, E101 and E200.
Both the E100 and E101 feature a 3.2 inch screen and jogwheel as well as a 2-megapixel camera. The E200 is smaller with a 3-inch screen and 3.2-megapixel camera.
Both beTouch devices allow the homescreen to be personalised in two steps while all applications are located on the homepage. Calls and messages can be activated with a single touch.
All handsets in the beTouch range run on Windows Mobile 6.5 and are preinstalled with the latest version of Internet Explorer and Windows Messenger.
The neoTouch is Acer's flagship phone, equipped with the highly anticipated Qualcomm snapdragon processor, allowing for faster internet use. This coupled with the 5-megapixel camera means photos and videos can be uploaded instantaneously.
The neoTouch offers key functions such as Mail and Microsoft Office, displayed on a 3.8-inch high-resolution touch screen.
The neoTouch also contains the newly developed Acer Sync, allowing for synchronisation with Windows notebook, Google accounts, or your PC via Wi-Fi. Despite its technological power, Acer insists the neoTouch is as simple to use as the beTouch range.
Both ranges feature Bluetooth and a 3.5mm earphone jack so you can use your own headphones.
