Samsung’s latest Giorgio Armani phone was recently unveiled in the suitably fashion-obsessed Milan.
It runs Microsoft’s Windows 6.5, which improves on the frequently reviled Windows Mobile 6.1, and a full slide-out Qwerty keyboard. So, for all its fashion pretensions, it’ll got some serious business potential under the bonnet.
Aside from the Qwerty and a trio of face buttons, there’s a 3.5-inch touchscreen using an AMOLED display, which should make it a good match for your videos. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera and 8GB of internal storage. So, while its not breaking any boundaries on the specs front, it’s not badly equipped for what’s ostensibly being sold on the merits of the Giorgio Armani brand.
Still, it’s headed for the top end of the smartphone market in price terms, with a price tag of 700 Euros, which likely means you’ll be looking at forking out at least £35 a month if you want to get the phone without paying anything extra.
