Sagem announces PUMA phone

Sagem and PUMA have announced a partnership that'll see a PUMA-branded phone hit the market in time for the 2010 Football World Cup

To coincide with the 2010 Football World Cup, Sagem will release a PUMA phone, bearing the popular sports accessories maker’s branding.
Although there are precious few details about the phone available at present, it claims to be “the first mobile device completely tailor designed, from the inside out.”
Exactly what this means remains something of a mystery to us, but we expect high-end manufacturers like Vertu may have something to say about such a claim. Still, we’re keen to see what sort of phone arises from the collaboration, especially when both brands are seen as underdogs compared to their rivals – Nike and Addidas, Nokia and Sony Ericsson respectively.
The leaping puma has always been the core icon in any of PUMA’s branded products, so you can expect it to be emblazoned somewhere about the phone. We’ll let you know where it falls on the mobile price and features scale when we hear any more details.
