Kempler & Strauss has released a mobile watchphone called the W PhoneWatch

The low cost Kempler & Strauss W PhoneWatch has launched as a rival to LG's GD910 watchphone.

K & S, a relatively unknown manufacturer of mobile devices, has managed to put together a budget wristset that it claims is the 'world's smallest full-function GSM tri-band cellphone watch.'

The 'full-function' part of that claim means that as well as being tri-band, the W PhoneWatch, interchangeably referred to as the W Watch phone, manages to squeeze in a touchscreen display, microSD support, camera (including video capture) and MP3/Video playback.

Naturally, the PhoneWatch features Bluetooth to make voice calling a whole lot easier, and impressively includes a Bluetooth headset called the Kempler & Strauss Communicator, within the $200 RRP.
