The follow-up to the Android Cupcake update, dubbed Donut, has started to filter down to Android devices.
Donut improves navigation and overall look of the Android market, which is a boon considering how hard it was getting to trawl through the thing, re-vamps the camera interface and improves the voice and homescreen searches.
The update is starting to be delivered OTA to G1 and myTouch devices in the US, but exactly when we’ll see it transmitted here in the UK remains to be seen. However, Donut is one sweet treat you should be keeping your eye on if you use the Android Market extensively on your Android phone.
For a more detailed breakdown of exactly what the Donut update changes, check out the Android Developer site's notes.
