Nokia’s smallest messaging-focused device, the E55, has gone on sale at the manufacturer’s online shop.
It’ll cost you £299 SIM-free and packs in a micro Qwerty, with each key sucking up two letters of the alphabet, and a generous spread of connectivity options including HSDPA and Wi-Fi. Wearing its messaging focus on its sleeve, the E55’s camera isn’t anything to email home about, with only 3.2 megapixels to its name.
However, for a slim, highly pocketable solution, the E55 could be a good choice. It has a lighter side too though, coming with N-gage pre-installed. The E55 also boasts a 3.5mm jack, so you can while away the commute with some tunes without having to use bundled ‘phones or a proprietary adaptor.
