LG has revealed the GD510 Pop, its latest affordable touchscreen phone.

You get a fair amount of screen real estate for your cash, with a 3-inch full touchscreen display. However, there’s not all that much to the GD510 Pop other than its low price.

There’s no Wi-Fi and the camera is a relatively low-powered 3-megapixel offering, but if the price is right, the GD510 has a pleasantly simple look that could see it become very popular. It uses an aluminium casing that should hopefully give it a quality feel.

LG stressed the GD510 Pop’s video credentials, but we’ll have to wait to see exactly what codecs it can hack before coming to any conclusions.
