The little brother of the Samsung Galaxy, the Galaxy Lite, has surfaced online revealing a picture of the handset and its rumoured specs.
We've already reported that the Galaxy Lite will be Wi-Fi certified, and whilst this new information doesn't give an exhaustive list of its highlights we can at least offer up a few new nuggets.
Known more formally as the i5700, Samsung's next Android device looks to feature trackball navigation and will offer up Wi-Fi, GPS and HSDPA connectivity.
Interestingly, other reports claim that the Lite's eventual name will be the Galaxy Spica, and that it will feature the same 800Mhz CPU of the Omnia i8910, surpassing the 528Mhz processor of the original Galaxy.
The Lite, or Spica, is rumoured to be running on Android version 1.5, known as Cupcake and also seems to have lost the Home button that features on the original Galaxy and most other Android handsets.
According to the folks at FrAndroid.com, the Lite is due to hit the shelves before the end of October, so fingers crossed we'll be hearing something more concrete in the near future.
